From the desk of the Parish Priest...

Dear Parishioners,

At the outset I wish you all a Very Happy Feast of the Risen Lord. May the Easter celebration fill us with peace and joy.

Holy season of Lent gave us an opportunity to reflect our Christian vocation in the light of the Passion, Death & Resurrection of Christ. Forty days of prayer, penance & alms giving in the light of the Word of God & nourished by the Holy Eucharist we rediscovered the beauty of the Christian Life. We have understood that we are true children of God.

We are Easter people, Alleluia is our song. The apostles & the early Christians filled with the spirit of the Risen Lord went about building communities. The Christian communities were marked by love and sharing, giving praise to God for the gift of Jesus Christ.

Celebration of Easter is a life of commitment. It is to die for our sins and to rise to new life. Die to selfishness and rise to selflessness. It is to die to all our sinfulness and radiate the Risen Lord in our life. This is a continuous process. Saints used to say that we are not fully Christians, but we are in the process of becoming Christians.

Let the celebration of Easter fill us with hope that God is the center of the humanity. It is the spirit of the Risen Lord, continuously transforming the mind & heart of the humanity for a better world where Fatherhood of God and Brotherhood of mankind is experienced in our daily life.

Happy Easter to You.

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
